Investor research on
Saudi early-stage startups.
Fasll (فَصْل) means "decisive ruling" in Arabic. It is an AI-assisted research and diligence layer for investors evaluating Saudi pre-seed to Series A startups — producing structured Pre-IC Briefs and Deep Verdicts from public signals and submitted materials, reviewed before delivery.
The Problem We Solve
Saudi private-market DD is broken.
No centralized data layer
CR filings, ZATCA records, CMA disclosures, and LinkedIn profiles exist in silos. Assembling a coherent picture of a private company requires days of manual research across incompatible sources.
Language and format barriers
Most primary sources are Arabic-only and structured for regulatory, not analytical, use. Translating and normalizing this data for investment decisions is costly and error-prone.
Opaque ownership structures
Family holdings, government-adjacent ownership (PIF, CMA-regulated), and cross-border GCC structures are routinely misclassified or invisible to outside investors.
No standardized verdict format
Each analyst builds their own framework. There is no shared standard for how Saudi-specific risk factors — Sharia compliance, Saudization, ZATCA standing — are weighted in an investment verdict.
What Fasll Produces
A structured DD memo. Not a data dump.
Every Fasll engagement produces a structured research output: either a Pre-IC Brief (for early screening) or a Deep Verdict (for advanced diligence). Both include a clear directional recommendation and source citations throughout. Supporting research is available for ongoing deal flow.
Fasll structures fragmented public signals and investor-submitted materials into a structured Pre-IC Brief or Deep Verdict — with source citations, confidence levels, and explicit data gaps. Human-reviewed before delivery.
Curated startup profiles, sector monitoring, and source-backed company snapshots that support DD work. Useful as a starting point before requesting a full brief.
How Research Is Produced
AI-assisted research. Human-reviewed output.
What AI does
- — Queries Saudi regulatory records: CR registry, ZATCA tax status, integrity checks where public
- — Structures founder background from LinkedIn, public records, and news sources
- — Aggregates commercial signals: job postings, customer references, press coverage
- — Organises findings into the three DD pillars with source citations
What a human analyst does
- — Reviews every claim for accuracy, context, and Saudi market relevance
- — Flags gaps, contradictions, and items that require investor follow-up
- — For Deep Verdicts: finalises the confidence score, risk matrix, and GO / CAUTION / NO-GO
- — Signs off before the memo is delivered
Scope note: Fasll research outputs are designed for preliminary investment diligence. They are not a substitute for legal review, financial audit, or technical due diligence. We will always be explicit about what we can and cannot verify from public sources.
Confidentiality
Your engagement is confidential by default.
Default confidentiality
Every Fasll engagement is treated as confidential. We do not disclose client names, the companies you are researching, or the questions you submit to any third party.
NDA on request
If your firm requires a formal NDA before sharing company details, we can provide one. Contact us before submitting your request and we will send terms within one business day.
Source separation by output type
For Pre-IC Briefs, Fasll uses only publicly available sources: regulatory filings, published disclosures, news, and professional networks. For Deep Verdicts, investor-submitted materials (pitch decks, financials, data room links) are incorporated under confidentiality. We do not make unsolicited contact with the target company.
Work product is yours
The Verdict memo we produce for you is your work product. We do not share it, resell it, or use it to build derivative products without your consent.

Our Principles
How we think about the product.
Source first, always.
Every claim in a Fasll report is attached to a source and a confidence level. We do not present inferred data as fact. If a field cannot be verified from a primary source, it is marked as estimated or not found — not silently omitted.
Saudi-specific, not a generic adapter.
Global DD platforms treat Saudi Arabia as a checkbox. Fasll is designed from the ground up for the Saudi regulatory stack — CR, ZATCA, SAMA, CMA, Saudization — and for the ownership structures that define the Saudi private market.
Structured research, not documents.
We do not produce document dumps. A Fasll Brief is an analytical output: a weighted score, a structured argument, and a clear directional recommendation — all of which a professional can review, challenge, and use as a starting point for deeper diligence.
Honest about limitations.
We will always tell you what we do not know. Confidence scores, data freshness dates, and explicit gap disclosures are core to every report. A Fasll Verdict is not a substitute for a full legal, financial, or technical audit.
